George Nwogu


Dr. George Nwogu has been the General Secretary of NIDOA USA Board of Directors since 2017. He is currently the President of NIDOA Chicago Chapter.

His professional work background is in Information Technology Risk Management and Regulatory Compliance, Information Technology Auditing, Management Consulting, and Community Economic Development.

He serves in a Risk Management and Regulatory Compliance leadership role in a Fortune 100 company, and also serves as a Commissioner with the Community Development and Housing Grant Commission of McHenry County Board where he provides policy review and direction regarding affordable and fair housing, strengthening of community economic development, and improvement of public infrastructure.  He is a partner with New Generation Consulting Resources & Solutions Ltd.

He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business with concentrations in Finance/Accounting and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Roosevelt University. He also has a Doctor of Philosophy degree (Ph.D.) in Management & Organizational Development from Northcentral University.
